An Agile Life?

Can we use the same system we use to build great software products to organize our lives? Or does that sound miserable?

I ask because recently, I’ve been coaching some clients on how to get their day to day organized so they have space to focus on the most important things on their plate.

And one product leader I work with has started to take the principles of Agile and apply them to their life as a whole.  It has been fascinating taking a system I have always thought applied only to running product teams - and applying it to a broader set of challenges. And from what I can see - it’s working!

What would a daily stand up look like for your life? What about a sprint planning meeting, or a retro? I’m intrigued to hear if others have tried something like this, and what this alignment between work systems and personal systems offers.

Would love to hear your thoughts - especially if you’ve tried something like this.
